General Questions

Are your courses approved for the entire state of Florida?
Yes, all of our courses have been approved by the Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles.

Do I need any special software to complete your online courses?
No, all you need is access to the Internet. You complete the course entirely online.

How long do the courses really take?
The courses are either (4) or (8) hours in length. Expect to spend at least that much time completing the course. There is no maximum limit, however, so take your time.

What score do I need to pass the tests?
All of the courses require an 80% on the final exam. They are all open book. You can retake the test for free if you do not pass.

What if I don't pass the test on my first try?
You may retake the test for free (up to 3 times) if you don't pass.

Certificate Questions

How do I get my certificate?
Once you pass the final exam, your certificate will be automatically mailed to you. There is no charge for this service. The certificate is mailed within 48 hours of passing the final.

Can I have my certificate emailed to me?
Yes, we do provide the service of creating a PDF version of your certificate which you can print from your home computer. There is a $5 fee and it will arrive within 1 hour of passing the final.

Can I have my certificate overnighted to me?
Yes. The fee is $29.

What if I lost my certificate? Can I get a replacement?
Yes, you can get a replacement. For regular mail, the total replacement cost is $10. For expedited mail, the total replacement cost is $29.

Video Library Questions

What is the video library?
The video library is our collection of award-winning video instruction designed to help prepare you for the actual driving test as well as the written test. Just because you have a certificate doesn't mean that you'll get your license!

How do I access the video library?
Once you sign up for one of our courses, you can use your username and password to log into the video library.

Can I get the clips from the video library on VHS or DVD?
The video clips in the video library come from our critically acclaimed DVD, Rules of the Road, which is available for separate purchase. Students of Blue Whale Driving receive a $10 discount on the purchase of the DVD.
